Alice Hope Morris

Age 85, of Swartz Creek, died peacefully on August 3, 2024, at United Hospice Service at Marlette Hospital. In accordance with Alice's wishes, cremation has taken place. Alice was born on March 5, 1939, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Warren. Alice went to nursing school to become a Registered Nurse and graduated with honors in 1977. Her nursing career consisted of working at Hurley Hospital for a short time and then Kith Haven, which she eventually retired from. After that, she worked for several years at Lynn’s Hallmark Store in the Genesee Valley Mall, which she enjoyed, as she was a “people person” and loved helping others.

Left to cherish Alice's memory are her children: Laura (Morris) and Roger Barton of PA; Patrick and Carla Morris of MI; grandchildren: Joshua and Katherine Barton of PA, Ryan and Cassie Barton of PA, Hannah Barton of FL, Corynn and Bradley O’Dea of MI and Michael and Ashley Spears of MI; great-grandchildren: Alexis, Zander, Max, Cole, Parker, Peyton, and Dawson; her little sister and her husband, Leslie (Crossett) and Mark Ames of MI and David Warren of KY; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Norman; mother, Marie Crossett; father, Leonard Warren; three siblings: Harry Warren, Kitty Saunders, and Sharon Groves.
