Albert Hammel

Of Flint, age 74, died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at his home. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Bishop Carl Pangerl will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 24, 2010 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Friday from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Albert was born September 27, 1935 in Mt Morris, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Beatrice (Vick) Hammel. He and Ethel Wagle were united in marriage on January 12, 2002. His smile was one-of-a-kind and he will be greatly missed. Albert leaves to cherish his memory, his friend of 45 years and wife of 8 years, Ethel; three children; two grandchildren; one great-great grandson; five brothers; one sister; many nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends; and his cat and dog. Albert was preceded in death by his parents and his only daughter.
