Addie Marie Mims

Of Burton, age 78, died Monday, March 9, 2009 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm , Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Mark Wentzel will officiate with burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00am to 2:00pm and 5:00pm to 8:00pm., and on Friday from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Flint Ward Building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Addie was born November 5, 1930 in Marston, Missouri, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob and Rena (Denton) Williams. She and Paul Mims were united in marriage May 15, 1948. Addie leaves to cherish her memory beloved companion Ralph Seeley,five children: Jimmy and wife Connie Mims, Vickie and husband Richard Fletcher, Pamela Crandell, Jeanie Visnaw and Paul Clark, Daniel and wife Turauna Mims, 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one on the way, brother in law Charles Pritchard, step sister Eunice and husband Roy Condict, special family friend Jerry Badgero, many nieces, nephews, special friends, and her beloved dog Gee. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, sons (infant) Bobby Ray, David Charles, and sister Carlene Pritchard.
