Obituary of Lisa Marie Sopko
Lisa Marie Sopko, age 37, of Davison, Michigan, passed away, Sunday, March 18, 2018. The funeral celebrating Lisa’s life will take place 5:00 pm, Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Martin Funeral, Cremation and Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Jeff McCool will officiate with cremation to follow. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, in Lisa's memory.
Lisa was born September 27, 1980, in Flint, the daughter of Theresa (John) Wheaton. She enjoyed cooking, taking nature walks, scenic photography and spending time with her family and friends. Lisa was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Lisa is survived by her two daughters: Ashley Kay (Chris Reynard) Sopko-Thompson and Audreaunna Lynn Sopko-Thompson; four siblings; Amber Lynn (Bill) Andrews, Cheri, Steve (Amy) Caldwell and Billy Caldwell; her true love: Frank Sturgill; Frank’s son: Daniel (Ariella) Scheall; grandmother: Carol (Sopko) Martin; two nephews: Bill Andrews, Jr. and Matt Andrews; nieces: Sarah Andrews, Amelia Scheall, Chelsea Scheall and Kayleigh Scheall; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mohammed, Dr. Grewal, Dr. Danish, the physicians and staff at the Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute, Elite EMS, Twin Township Ambulance and Swartz EMS for their support and compassionate care of Lisa.
