Obituary of Betty Irene St. Clair
Age 88, of Vassar, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017, at Tuscola County Medical Care Community of Caro. A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Martin Funeral, Cremation, & Tribute Services in Vassar. Betty’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until time of service. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Betty was born May 23, 1929, in Wheatland Township, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William and Merle (Goodsell) Hewlett. Betty and Lester St. Clair were married on April 23, 1953. Sadly, Lester preceded her in death on December 28, 2004. Betty was the co-owner of St. Clair Real Estate as a Real Estate Broker with her husband, Lester.
Left to Cherish her memory, two sons: Max and wife, Tarrie Blackmer and Mark and wife, Paula St. Clair; grandchildren; Malinda Blackmer, Joseph and wife, Shannon Blackmer, Christopher St. Clair, Lester and wife, Jennifer St. Clair, Alex St. Clair and Max and wife, Mary Blackmer; 5 great-grandchildren: Audrey, Olivia, Aiden, Everly, and Lester Elliot; many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lester, sisters, Emily Briggs, Marvel Whelock and Arlene Ackerman and brother, Donald Hewlett.
