Obituary of Mary June Smith
Age 85, of Burton, passed away August 25, 2017, at her home. A memorial service will take place 11:00 am, Friday, September 1, 2017, at Faith Tabernacle Church located at 122 S. Center Road, Burton, Michigan 48509. Sr. Pastor Bruce Gardner will officiate. Memorial contributions may be considered to the family to go towards funeral arrangements. Envelopes will be available at the church.
Mary was born March 4, 1932, in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin and Elizabeth (Harvey) Smith. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends and visiting Mackinac Island.
Left to cherish her memory are: Christian best friend, Karen Josza; sister, Donna (Don) Owens; sister-in-law, Jean Smith; nieces, Kim Dellar and children, and Michele Hasley; nephews, Scott (Clare) Owens and children and Mark (Angela) Owens and children; second family, Chris (Bob) Laberge and children, Sharon, Jane, Michelle and Greg Josza; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Alvin Kenneth Smith.
