Obituary of Gail Rae Huffman

Age 81, of Flint, Gail went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 7, 2017. A funeral celebrating Gail’s life will be held at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Mt. Morris on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at 2:00 pm. Pastor Ted Stephens will be officiating with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends can gather at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be directed to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

Gail was born November 16, 1935, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. James and Nellie (Ratliff) Boley. She and Donald were united in marriage on July 7, 1952. Gail worked for Beecher Schools as a lunch teacher for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed collecting antiques, dolls, and lighthouses, and going to flea markets. Gail’s hobbies were sewing, cooking, and baking. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her three children: Mark Huffman, Daniel (Karen) Huffman, and Connie Creveston; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister: Wanda Phister; special niece: Alexis Hogan.

Gail was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four siblings, Curt, John, Bonnie and Buck, granddaughter, Sarah, and dog, Minnie Pearl.
