Obituary of Peggy Marie Henry (Rines)
Age 72, of Mt. Morris, died Monday, June 19, 2017, at her home. In accordance with Peggy’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial celebrating Peggy’s life will be held at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services -Mt. Morris on Friday, June 23, 2017, at 1:00 pm. Rev. John Montney will be officiating. Friends can gather at the funeral home on Friday at 12:00 noon until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be directed to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Peggy was born May 31, 1945, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. A and Cora (Dorris) Rines. She and Patrick were united in marriage on March 24, 1990. Sadly, he preceded her in death. Peggy worked for Salvation Army as Security, Vienna Township Sherriff as the Deputy Secretary, and Prime Outlets as Security. She belonged to the Genesee County Special Deputies. She enjoyed reading Nora Roberts and Louis L’Amore. Peggy volunteered for the Genesee County Head Start Program.
She is survived by her four daughters: Kimberly (Dale) Hatt, Stephanie (Ken) Torrey, Laura (Chad) Seguin, and Justine (Erik) Watson; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister: Patricia Mack; and several nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her son: Eric, husband, parents, brother: Harold, and sister: Lea.
