Geneva was born June 26, 1922, in Rose City, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William and Martha (Partlo) Sammons. She and Wallace were united in marriage in 1948. Sadly, he predeceased her in 1994. Geneva was known for her handmade birthday cards and holiday cards. She was always taking in people who needed help, shelter or just simply a meal to eat. Geneva liked to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons: Gary (Julie) Gavit and Galen (Demae) Gavit; nine grandchildren: Elizabeth, Brooke, Billy Jack, Eric, Amanda, Galen Jr., Tamlyn, Coty, and Adriana; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother Leonard (Sharri) Sammons.
Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers Keith, Gerald, and Galen.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Wellspring Lutheran Services Staff for their care and compassion.
