Obituary of Jacqueline Sue Clapper

Jacqueline “Jacci” Sue (Plonta) Clapper, age 67, of Fairgrove, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home -Fairgrove. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 amuntil the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jacci was born April 6, 1949, in Bridgeport Michigan, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Wallace and June (Goodman) Plonta. She graduated from Bridgeport High School. Jacci and Terence Clapper were united in marriage on October 26, 1968 in Bridgeport. Sadly, he preceded her in death in July of 2000. She spent her time raising her children and grandchildren. Jacci volunteered with Christmas Express. In her free time, Jacci enjoyed drawing, coloring, cooking and spending time with her cat. Left to cherish her memory are her four sons: Joel Clapper, Shawn (Amanda) Clapper, Mitchell Clapper, and Tracy (Rebecca) Clapper; 14 grandchildren: Drew, Brandon, Jazzy, Samantha, Austin, Tyler, Alex, Zach, Lilly, Reggie, Kendra, Robert Williams Jr., RaeAnna Williams and Elianna Williams; two great-grandchildren; sister: Christy Jakubuwski. Jacci was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Barry Plonta.
