Obituary of Madolyn Buchko

Age 95, of Mt. Morris, formerly of Sebring Florida, died January 14, 2017. The Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Friday, February 17, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Madolyn was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She loved to play golf, cook, sew, hunt, fish, and camp. She especially loved to dance. Joe and Madge spent many hours dancing at the Sebring Center and the Elks Club while residing in Florida. After moving to Michigan in 2015, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially going out for dinner and eating lobster. Madolyn “Madge” Buchko leaves to cherish her memory her three children: Peggy McCombs, Ron (Dianne) Buchko and Dale (Penny) Buchko; grandchildren: Deborah (Dan) VanHamlin, Dianne (Bill) McChesney, Danny (Mandy) McCombs, Dawn McCombs, Renie Fitch, Lori (Sonny) Suppes, AJ Buchko, Lissa (Mike) Connell; great-grandchildren: Jonathon VanHamlin (Lyndsay), Jennifer (Justin) Willmann, David McChesney (Caitlin), Nick (Jessica) Dean, Jaycob McCombs, Hannah McCombs, Grace McCombs, Jacqueline Goodman, JJ Goodman, Jaydan Fitch-McCombs, Jayson Fitch-McCombs, Zach Holmquist, Kayci Holmquist, and Zander Connell; sister Gwen Frank; and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Joseph, parents, Elizabeth and Peter Smith, sisters, Genevieve, Lauretta, Dorothy, Virginia, Jaquelyn, and Joyce, brothers Gerald and Willman.
