Obituary of Verna Lee Norrell

Age 86, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Maplewood’s Manor of Clio. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church in Flint. Pastor Walt Rose to officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at church from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring to make memorial contributions in Verna’s memory, may direct them to Bethel Baptist church.
Verna was born November 27, 1929 in Flint to the late Mr. and Mrs. William Eagan & Beatrice M. (Raymond) Sprague. Verna worked for Turnstedt as a machine operator. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Flint, UAW Local 326, Auto City Eagles #3485, and the Shrine Hillbillies Clan #55.
Verna was preceded in death by many loved ones, including her son, Mark Eagan.
Left to cherish Verna’s memory are her; son, Jack (Lynette) Eagan; seven grandchildren: Hollie (Mo) Byas, Heidi (Chuck) Iddins, Marcus (Billie) Eagan, Jaclyn Eagan, Jennifer (Fousto) Ortega, Carla Eagan, Keri (Gary) Kranzo; Great grandchildren: Trenton, Jacob, Faith, Camri, Kennedy, Corbin, Cayden, and Laela.
