Obituary of Donna (Sevener) Butler

of Vassar, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Covenant Health Care-Harrison. In accordance to Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. Burial will take place in Thetford Township Cemetery. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions in Donna’s memory to The Bavarian Veterinary Hospital, 141 Churchgrove Rd, Frankenmuth, MI 48734 or to a charity of your choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Donna was born in Bay City, Michigan to the late Mr. & Mrs. Paul and Bea (Sevener) Butler. During her life, Donna worked for General Motors for 33 years at Saginaw Steering Gear Plant #2. Most recently, Donna owned her on Drapery Company in Tuscola County, utilizing her natural talent and passion for sewing and crafts for her customers. Left to cherish her memory are her: Brother, Jim Butler and his family, Eric, Janelle, Lindsey, and Zachary; Aunt and Uncle, Larry and Mona Sevener and family; cousins, Lee, Beth, Verona Sevener; Jim and Virginia Howard, Phillis Naylander, Doug and Norma Opera; first and closest friend, Patti Brooks; close friends: Mary Smith, Kell Fasske, Jim and Mary Debois, Lynn and Walt Hecht, and Dee Zender; classmates who worked on reunions with Donna: Verna Heine, Char Flamm, and Gary Heine; business associate, J.R Blehm. She was preceded in death by her parents. Donna’s family would like to extend special thanks to all of Donna’s customers over the years.
