Age 78, of Flint, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016, surrounded by family. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, August 15, 2016, at New Life Assembly of God, 8240 Carpenter Rd, Flushing, MI 48433. Pastor Dennis Tanner to officiate with burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery to take place on a later date. Family will receive friends at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Mt. Morris on Sunday, August 14, 2016, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and at church on Monday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Clayton was born to the late Raymond and Catherine (Hausam) Loucks on March 28, 1938, in Flint, Michigan. Clayton proudly served in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War until receiving his honorable discharge. He and Rosemary Lengyel were united in marriage on August 3, 1968, in Flint, Michigan. He worked as an Electrician at Hurley Medical Center for over 30 years, before retiring in 1987. Clayton enjoyed splitting wood for his wood burner, building dollhouses, planting tulips, and working with his tools in his free time. Most of all, He loved spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Rose Mary (Lengyel) Loucks; five children: Ruth Parker, Marvin Loucks, Rachel Jacobs, Miriam Loucks, and Mary Velasquez; sister, Joanne Taylor; nine grandchildren.
