Obituary of Barbara Jean O'Hare

Age 71, of Mt Morris, died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Genesee Twp. Pastor Tom Forgo will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and on Thursday from 1:30 until time of service at 2:30 pm. Mrs. O'Hare was born October 18, 1944 in Flint to the late Mr. & Mrs. William and Irene Smedley. She and Myles O’Hare were united in marriage on September 28, 1963. Barbara loved to cook, quilt, and crochet. She also loved spending time with family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Myles O’Hare; son, Gary and wife, Amy O’Hare; daughter, Lisa and husband, John Watson; three grandsons: Eric and wife, Rebekah Watson, Austin O’Hare, and Brandon O’Hare; granddaughter, Autumn Watson, three brothers, two sisters, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend Laura Beattie-Proctor.
