Obituary of Mary Gordon

Mary Gordon, age 52, of Flint, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016. The funeral service will take place 10:00 am, Monday, April 25, 2016, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris: with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Mary’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the Old Newsboys of Flint. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Mary was born May 12, 1963, in Ste. Saint Marie, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Noah and Mary (Calkins) Jacko. She graduated from Beecher High School, Class of 1981. She married Gary Gordon in Flint on June 13, 2011. In her free time, Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, painting, Native American beadwork, hunting and fishing. Left to cherish her memory, her husband Gary Gordon; siblings: Angie (Bob Bigra) Naragon, Walter (Janice) Jacko, Dale (Linda) Jacko, Russell (Sue) Jacko, Nora (Bob) Anderson, Doris (Larry) Winslow, Lora (Mike Thayer) Robert; mother-in-law, Virginia Sublett, special friends and in-laws: Dick (Judy) France, Rick (Lori) Gordon and Debbie Gordon; and numerous other family members and friends in Flint, Traverse City and Texas. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lalah Blake, nephew Timothy Joe “TJ” Luxton, two brothers-in-law, Richard Naragon and Jim Blake.
